Tennis Trakker Pro Tutorial
Tennis Trakker Pro Tutorial gives you instructions as well as video demos to get you started. Even if you're a frequent user of Tennis Trakker Pro, you might want to go through the list to discover features that you might not be aware of.
The Setup Tab

- Setting up your match - Use the Setup screen to start a new match, enter the player's names, choose who will serve first, and pick the right match format.
- Ending a current match - To end a current match you need to start a new match by going to the Setup screen and tap on the "Start New Match" button. A message will come up to let you confirm or cancel your choice.
- Defaulting a player - You can also end a current match by deciding who wins the match by default. Go to the "Play" screen and tap on the "Edit" button. Choose the player you want to win by default by tapping on his or her name.
- Choosing who serves first - Make sure you pick the right server before starting your recording. Once you start recording the match, you won't be able to change server.
- Choosing the right match format - Make sure you pick the right match format before starting your recording. Once you start recording the match, you won't be able to change the match format.
The Play Tab
- Recording Aces - To record an ace, go to the 'Play' screen, tap on 'Ace 1st Serve' or 'Ace 2nd Serve' then choose if the ace hit was Wide or down the T from the menu. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Recording Winners - To record any winners, from the 'Play' screen, tap on '1st Serve In' or '2nd Serve In', then tap on the 'Winner' icon of the player who hits the winner and choose the type of winner: forehand, backhand, etc. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Recording Service Winners - To record a service winner (when the receiving player missed his/her return of the serve), from the 'Play' screen tap on '1st Serve In' or '2nd Serve In', then tap on the 'Winner' icon of the player that hit the service winner and tap on the 'Service winner" icon. Now choose if the service winner was Wide, into the Body, or down the T. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Recording Return Winners - To record a return winner (when the receiving player hit a winner right of the serve), from the 'Play' screen tap on '1st Serve In' or '2nd Serve In', then tap on the 'Winner' icon of the receiving player and tap on the 'Return winner" icon. Now choose if the return winner was a Forehand or a Backhand. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Recording Forced Errors - To record a forced error (almost like a winner for the player who made his opponent hit a forced error), from the 'Play' screen tap on '1st Serve In' or '2nd Serve In', then tap on the 'Forced Error' icon of the player that provoked the error and choose the type of forced error created: forehand, backhand, etc. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Recording Unforced Errors - To record an unforced error, from the 'Play' screen tap on '1st Serve In' or '2nd Serve In', then tap on the 'Unforced Error' icon of the player that missed the shot and choose the type of error created: forehand, backhand, etc. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Editing the Scoreboard - To edit the Scoreboard, from the 'Play' screen, tap on the 'Edit' button. You can choose to change the current game score or set score by tapping on the '+' or '-' sign. When done, tap 'Ok' to accept your changes. The Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Undoing the previous point - To undo the previous point (you can undo up to 3 previous points), from the 'Play' screen, tap on the undo icon
or shake your iPhone. Confirm your undo and the Scoreboard will be updated accordingly.
- Viewing Serves Graphs - To view a graphical format of the players' serves, from the 'Play' screen, in the Scoreboard, tap on the 'Graph' icon located behind the player's names.
The Stats Tab
- Viewing stats of the current match - To view the stats of the current match, go to the 'Stats' screen and scroll to view your recorded data.
- Jumping to game stats - To jump to the stats at a game level, from the 'Stats' screen, tap on the 'Set 1', or 'Set 2', etc. button. It'll take you to the stats of the games of that set. Or you can also scroll the screen towards the bottom to view the game stats.
- Viewing serves graphs of the current match - To view the serving graph while in the 'Stats' screen, scroll all the way to the top and tap on the 'Graph' icon located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Loading a match for comparison - To load a previously saved match, go to the 'Stats' screen, tap on the 'i' located at the lower right hand corner of the screen. Choose the match you want to load by tapping on it, a check mark next to the match will indicate your choice. Tap on 'Load' then choose if you want to load it to the left or the right screen. Use the 'Right' or 'Left' arrow on the top of the screen to look at the different stats. You can check the stats of up to three matches: two of which you can load to the left or right screen and your current match is always on the center screen.
- Deleting a saved match - To delete a previously saved match, go to the 'Stats' screen, tap on the 'i' located at the lower right hand corner of the screen. Choose the match you want to delete by tapping on it (note that you cannot delete the current match, the one preceded by *), a check mark next to the match will indicate your choice. Tap on 'Delete' then confirm your choice.
The Upload Tab
- Signing up for your free trial - To upload your matches, you need to sign up first. It's fast, it's free, and it's easy.
- Uploading your saved matches - Once you registered for your free trial, you can login to upload any of your saved matches from your iPhone to the server.
- Uploading from or to a different player - You can choose which player's stats you want to upload from and you can pick which one of your players will receive these stats, assuming that you're tracking more than one player in your account.
The About Tab
- Using the Timer - Turning the Timer on allows you to check how long a player takes between serves.
- Using the Power Save - To preserve battery power, turn 'Power Save' on so that the screen doesn't rotate between actions.
